| Schuylkill Branch Fantrip To Wilkes-Barre | |||
| On this June 1955, we tour the PRR Schuylkill Branch on a trip to Wilkes-Barre from Philadelphia. We travel the branch after diverging from the mainline at 52nd. St., to Norristown, Reading, and Pottsville. This trip was sponsored by the Philadelphia Chapter NRHS. At Delano Jct. we enter the LV Hazelton Branch followed by the LV Tomhicken Branch to Tomhicken where we go unto the beginning of the PRR Catawissa Branch followed by the Nescopek and Wilkes-Barre Branches. All this gave the PRR a direct route from Philadelpha to Wilkes=Barry PA. Ansochrome ASA 32 is the film used for the first and second parts while Ektachrome ASA 32, color corrected by Photoshop, was at the end. | |||
