An ES15 (in Pennsy classification) moves the consist. Most of the world knew this locomotive model by it's manufacturer's designation: GP7 It would become the ubiquitous and most widely used diesel locomotive model by the RR industry.

8549 was delivered brand new two years earlier to replace the steam yard engines in Wilkes-Barre. It is sitting on tracks adjacent to the PRR freight station in Wilkes-Barre.
