NKP 759 Breakdown & Fire Up | |||
The High Iron Company, running an excursion with Nickel Plate 759 on the NW Shenandoah line, has a problem with a cylinder head and a NW SD45 comes to the rescue of the passenger train at Shepherdstown, West Virginia. A few weeks later, the engine is fired up after repairs at the WM yard in Hagerstown, and then moves under steam again to a connection with Penn Central at Hagerstown before returning north of the Mason-Dixon Line. | |||
