| On May 10, 1969, replica engines like those that touched pilots in 1869 commemorating the completion of the transcontinental railroad met at Promontory Summit. Just as they had 100 years earlier, the pilots touched on a section of relay track and a golden spike was driven. The Godfather was there. | |||
