| In the summer of 1975, the SP 4449, running as the AFT #1, had her driver wheels worked on by the UP shop forces in Omaha. Meanwhile, the AFT consist moved under diesel power to Utah. After the work was completed on SP 4449, the engine ran behind UP 8444 across Nebraska to catch up with the rest of the AFT and these are the photos from that chase.
