A collection of photos showing the arriving eastbound Golden State Limited one day into the Davenport, IA., station, with associated views of the depot. This was the Iowa side stop in the Quad Cities for the Golden State, it made another stop across the Mississippi River in Rock Island before heading east to Chicago until the train was discontinued in 1968. It remained a full service long distance train, with sleepers and full diner to the end. | |||
