John and Bill continue their midwest railfan swing by riding the night bus from Chicago to Detroit (hey, they were on a budget and the train was more expensive). Once there daylight brought plenty of Grand Trunk Western active steam working commuter service at Brush St. terminal. Another roll of film was exposed at the roundhouse, before they crossed the river to Canada, but that is the next story.
