This Lake Street 'L' is westbound. It left the Laramie Avenue station on the elevated, and is running down the ramp to the Central Avenue station. At one time there was trolley wire on the ramp, but this was replaced with 3rd rail. This is still inside the City of Chicago. Oak Park begins at Austin Avenue.
