One of the Blue Ribbon Fleet of the PRR leaves for parts east, crossing the troublesome 21st St. bridge. It still serves in the 21st century, and still causes headaches for the maintainers.

I don't see a smash board, which would be horizontal off the same signal mast as the rh side PL signal displaying stop (PRR Rule 292). Are smashboards just an east coast thing? Thanks. VRP
