Working at the ballpark which is just out of shot on the left of the photo it was really neat one night to see a train which had multiple MILW cars on it with "Milwaukee Road" still clearly visible on the sides.

John, great shot, you gotta give the Milwaukee Road props for improvising engine numbers here, that 97A spray painted on the side sums up this operation in the waning days. Boy, I miss this era.
