We have made the turn off the Panhandle at Van tower in Logansport, onto the "I&F" branch to Frankfort and eventually the junction with the PRR St. Louis main on the west side of Indianapolis. Technically, the I&F was the portion from Frankfort to Indy, constructed 1917. This part of the line is older (1875) and was part of the Terre Haute & Logansport RR, folded into the Vandalia in 1905, and later became part of the Panhandle.
