Very cool! 5888 now resides at the railway museum of greater Cincinnati. So wonderful to see photos of 5888 when it was in use. They are difficult to find.

A note about the truck seen far left with the Excelsior Truck Leasing Co. It was a company associated with the PRR that gradually took over supply and management of the motor truck fleet for PRR company service vehicles. This is according to a former Excelsior Employee, who also noted the fact that the PRR transferred him to Excelsior. He refers to “Scott Brothers Red” as the later color. Scott Brothers was another associated company that handled PRR’s local pick-up and delivery of LCL shipments. Their trucks were painted a brighter red than Tuscan and had the words “Pennsylvania Railroad.”
