This is taken at the foot of Prud'homme St. in NDG, on what was then Upper Lachine Road, now St. Jacques or St. James West, looking west. Nothing remains today since the area was wiped out by the construction of the Turcot Interchange. Montreal drivers (are) up to their usual habits passing the tower car by moving over onto the wrong side of the street. This picture was probably taken the same day as the one showing the cream one-man cars on the 31 route. That was just a little east of here, still on Upper Lachine Road/St. Jacques/James. Buildings about where the tree is are still extant in 2014, but everything else was demolished and scooped out for the interchange on the edge of the escarpment.
