Cambria & Indiana coal cars are in the consist of a train roll by on the main. The train shed of the Altoona depot is in the background and the roof of the station, with the three round-headed windows, is showing behind it. Perhaps most interesting is the massive stack of freight car truck side frames and what appear to be bolsters (the cross piece that connects the side frames and supports the car). This view is taken from the old 9th Street foot bridge looking westward.
