A view of the Nobska. She was a product of the 1920's and served until the end of summer 1974.

This is a beautiful shot of a beautiful vessel. The steamer Nobska was one of three vessels in use at the time of these photos. The others were the steamer Nantucket, built in 1956, and the diesel powered ferry Islander, built 1950. The islander served the islands for 57 years! The Nobska for 48 years!
