The Crusader has passed the Elmora Station at speed passing the Linden Road grade crossing.

John, for 20 years I lived around the corner a mile or so in the Elmora section and have crossed this road thousands of times but never saw the yellow shanty with manual gates. And although the signal tower still stood, the semaphores were long gone of course. It's incredible to see areas back in the day where you used to reside. Behind you was a tower on your right if you turned around, I was able to get invited in before in closed back in the 1970's. Again this is amazing history. Thank you!!

This photo is not in Elizabeth. It is not Elmora Station. It was taken at the Linden Road grade crossing west of Elmora. The CNJ line here is the boundary between the Lorraine section of Roselle Park on the left (north) and Roselle on the right (south). (Thanks Rob we have corrected it, both on this shot and the B&O shot from the same spot. -Webmaster)
