Actually, the carbarn is to the right of the photographer. Pardon me. The street to the left in the photo is Chestnut Hill Ave. Looks like a Dallas double-ender. I remember them mostly on the Arborway Line.

This is Cleveland Circle. I hung around here for years, in the mid-late 60s. I think the car is headed to the carbarn out of sight to the left and behind the photographer, judging by the trolley pole coming off Beacon St. it is an apt building, with businesses below. Behind the van is a little restaurant. Gross's Deli was just up the street to the left.

What a fascinating location this is. What i earlier thought was a factory is in reality another apartment.
