An ES15 (in Pennsy classification) moves the consist. Most of the world knew this locomotive model by it's manufacturer's designation: GP7 It would become the ubiquitous and most widely used diesel locomotive model by the RR industry. |

8549 was delivered brand new two years earlier to replace the steam yard engines in Wilkes-Barre. It is sitting on tracks adjacent to the PRR freight station in Wilkes-Barre. |
